RYVER

Cancellations & Refunds

Effective 10 August 2026

This policy explains the general approach to cancellations. Your statutory consumer rights always take priority where they apply.

Before accepting a quote

You can simply decline the quote. No payment is taken merely for sending a service request.

After booking

Contact Ryver as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply to a distance or off-premises service contract, you may have a 14-day cancellation period. Any applicable statutory exceptions remain unaffected.

Work requested during a cancellation period

If you expressly ask for services to begin before an applicable cancellation period ends, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied if you later cancel. If the service has been fully performed following the legally required request/acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end.

Provider costs and late cancellation

Outside any mandatory statutory cancellation right, a refund may be reduced where reasonable, evidenced costs have already been incurred specifically for the booking, such as specially ordered non-returnable materials or work already carried out. Ryver will explain any deduction.

Ryver/provider cancellation

If the booked service cannot be supplied, Ryver will seek an alternative arrangement or appropriate refund. Refund timing can also depend on the payment provider and your bank.

Faulty or incomplete work

Cancellation is separate from your rights when a service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill. Contact Ryver promptly so the issue can be investigated and an appropriate remedy considered.
