Customer Terms
These terms apply when you use Ryver to request, book and manage services. Please read them before accepting a quote.
1. About Ryver
Ryver is a service marketplace that helps customers obtain a checked price, arrange work and manage payment and completion with an independent service provider. The identity of the provider assigned to a job is shown to the customer where applicable.
2. Requests and quotes
Submitting a request does not commit you to purchase. A quote is based on the information, photographs, videos and other details supplied. You must provide information that is accurate and disclose anything reasonably relevant to the work. A quote may be withdrawn or revised before work begins if important information was missing or materially incorrect.
3. Booking and payment
A booking is formed when you accept the quote and successfully complete the required payment. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider. The quote page states the total amount payable. Additional work is not authorised merely because a provider recommends it; material changes should be agreed with you first.
4. Access and customer responsibilities
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the property, ensure an authorised adult is present where required, and tell Ryver or the provider about known hazards or special access requirements.
5. Providers
Providers using Ryver are independently operated businesses. Ryver carries out onboarding and may check qualifications, insurance and performance information, but this does not remove a provider's responsibility to perform work with reasonable care and skill and to comply with applicable law and professional requirements.
6. Problems with work
If something is wrong, contact Ryver promptly and give us and the provider a reasonable opportunity to investigate. Ryver may facilitate communication, evidence gathering, remedial arrangements, refunds or disputes as appropriate. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Cancellation
Your cancellation and refund rights are explained in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Liability
Nothing excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law. Subject to that, Ryver is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by you, events outside reasonable control, or the independent acts of a provider except where Ryver is legally responsible.
9. Changes and law
The version accepted when you book applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
Important: These terms are designed as a practical launch framework and should be reviewed by a UK solicitor before large-scale trading.
